Test Results

The verdict?

No defibrillator needed. The meds are working. Although I may be the only vegetarian in the world who’s got high cholesterol. Looks like I’m going to be doing the Cheerios thing. All the rest of the tests are fine.

Unfortunately, my husband came home with some bug and shared it with me. I’ll need a few more days with honey, lemon and hot water before I’m back to normal.

    • Thanks, Angel. Since he’s got to put up with the disturbance of my coughing all night long, I don’t think I’ve got to tell him “boo”.

  2. Glad to hear that things turned out pretty well…yeah, how does a vegetarian have high cholesterol? Although — I’m convinced cholesterol is tied more to genetics than anything else. The first time mine was tested when I was in my 20s it was something like 117. People were asking me if I lived on raw fish and celery. Uh, no. I smoked, drank, didn’t exercise and lived on schnitzel and pomme frites!

    • Pomme frites! It could be the french fries! I have switched to red wine because I heard that’s better for your heart. :^D I seem to exercise in spurts…walking 3-4 miles a day for months at a time, then hardly any walking for months at a time. I think I need to get a little (lot) more disciplined about this stuff!

  3. Good news…now the discipline part: if you have french fries, we’ll handcuff you with a bottle of red wine.
